The sun popped out tonight after our 21 days of rain. My little Lumix FZ5 (not 50) has a battery now, so I decided to just click and click out my window. This week has me face to face with my lack of skill. I set my camera to overexpose based on what the shots looked like in my LCD, and then discovered that my LCD was set way low, so now I have a pile of bleached out photos. Scrabbling scrabbling for some vision, and this picture was a surprise. Not sure if I love it. No, I love it, but only because it looks like a picture about love, or about the place where love might lurk, or where it might have lurked once. Whether it is good or not just feels like a question I am not skilled enough to answer. Pouty pout. But I celebrate the sun. And love.
