Random shot from the Vancouver Folk Music Festival (a.k.a. "barkfest"). I grew up down there, so I get to call it what I want. It was pretty fun the night we were there. I was sniping shots, something I'm not very comfy with, so they're usually not very good. This one is no exception, but I was challenged by a friend to see if I could turn a photo into something stylized enough that it wasn't readily recognizable as a photograph. I'm not sure I succeeded, but I love the result. This is definitely a layer cake, and with no rhyme or reason to my madness. Sometimes it's fun to just create a new layer, change the blend mode, do something nuts, create an adjustment layer (take your pic), slide a few things, create another layer, etc., till you got something fun.
I used two filters only here, the rest is blend mode/adj. and brush work.
