This is my first upload meant for screens that display wider than 1024x768. Sorry for those of you who are still there - I really like the move to wider aspect ratios.
On our way back from the previous shot (Granville St., midway through the Olympics) Sarah and I started to get sushi on the brain. We walked over the Cambie St. bridge as the sun set and found ourselves captivated by Vancouver coming out at night. I decided to play with long exposures while placing my camera on the concrete shoulder of the bridge while cars went by. I never know what I'm going to get, but this one was a nice surprise finding Sarah in the shot, albeit ghostly. For anyone in Vancouver, you can't beat Ro Sushi, on Broadway between Cambie and Ash - right price, generous pieces of fish, and the option to choose wild salmon.
