This is an interesting one to me. It almost looks cross processed, especially in the lower right corner where the buildings trail off into the background, and I haven't touched the contrast at all. I also find the light in the top right distracting but in an interesting way: I tend to get headaches when there's certain "dead white" light outside, like when there's a white sky, and especially when indoor lights intersect natural daylight. It happens fast and without fail. I always thought it was something to do with the light itself. But the streetlights in this image against the cyan sky that peaks through - that part of the image brings on the same creeping headache. Maybe it's just the right wavelength combination - the colours plus the particular brightness/quality of the light coming out of my monitor - but this is the first time a digital image has ever given me this reaction.
