Illocution

In the thick of Theory at the moment, so pardon the cryptic title. In performative theory, illocutionary statements are words that actually DO what they say in the moment of the saying. So if I judge says, "I sentence you," you are sentenced - the words DO the thing they describe. In this sign, I envision some quantum moment where the words DID themselves, turned themselves over into the wrong way. I wonder if that would be re-locution? It's definitely a relocation, or a reorientation. Then again, upside down, they're not super readable, so that throws my theory down the drain... ;-)
