One of my issues with having a new DSLR is that I no longer make cross processed images. Frankly? This sucks. I went looking a couple of months ago all over the internet for adequate RAW CP plugins, and none of the ones I found actually look cross processed. CP isn't just a duotone application - there are particular colour shifts that occur depending on the film and light. The Lightroom 3 CP presets are close, but I don't have Lightroom, and they only really replicate one kind of shift.
Anyway, I played with some sliders to get an effect that was close - it's not great, and I don't think I'd use it again, but it's closer than I've gotten before. And it only took a couple of minutes - I really don't want to spend an hour on each shot deciding how and how much to process it into a CP look.
The lighter was naturally lime green already, which is why it caught my eye.
