I went out on a mission on Saturday, attempting to find street crews for Daffodil Day. April is Daffodil Month, when you can wear a daffodil pin to show people fighting cancer that they're not fighting alone and are supported. I work for the Canadian Cancer Society, and went to go see if I could document our volunteers giving out the pins. And I found myself greeting by some of the most glorious Vancouver imagery I've had in a long time. Not sure I did it justice, but I hope I convey some of the magic.
This shot is the Hotel Vancouver, reflected in the glass of the TD tower from the plaza of the Vancouver Art Gallery. I submitted it to the Georgia Straight in the hopes it gets a nod for the table of contents pic in a coming issue. Fingers crossed. :)
