Taken in 2009 while I was taking part in a 350.org rally about climate change. In the background you can see where our organized effort really goes - something about how we're all collectively... oriented... has us defaulting to bigger, better, faster, in spite of ourselves, in spite of everything we know, and often in spite of everything we actually want. Truly, the structure of how we're organized as a society, is more powerful than any individual intention. And yet, every individual intention has the power to disrupt, disturb, and change the structure of society. Our human conundrum.
